Alexander Cahill Heitz

Alexander Cahill Heitz, 30, passed away on July 20, 2026, in Belleville, New Jersey. Born on June 5, 1996, in Murmansk, Russia, Alexander Came to the US at age 7, he spent his youth in Connecticut and Florida before settling in Nutley, New Jersey with his wife.

He worked as a yellow iron diesel mechanic for Interstate Waste Services in Kearny, where he was known for his dedication, natural talent, skill, and strong work ethic.

Alexander is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Strickland Cahill. His Mother Gail Heitz and Brother Jeremy Heitz. Preceded in death by his father William Cahill.

Private services will be held. Cremation arrangements are under the care of the Cremation Society of New Jersey.

Alexander will be remembered as the man with the golden heart thought of with love and missed by all who knew him.
