Lilo Jaworski, 94, of Clifton, NJ passed away peacefully at home on June 14, 2026. Liesolette nee Heinrich was born April 23, 1932 in Neu-Ulm, Germany. She emigrated from Germany into the United States at 24 years old, having lived through the wartime and reconstruction years of the Second World War within her home country. Lilo was predeceased by her late husband, John Jaworski, in 1989. Survivors include her daughter, Elisabeth Teeple of Clifton, NJ; her three granddaughters, Melissa McDermott of Toms River, NJ, Deborah Furbeck of Largo, FL, and Denise Medina of Seminole, FL; and her seven great-grandchildren. Lilo worked as a photographer as well as with the Passaic County Coroner’s Office. Her talents and passions varied across numerous subjects. She enjoyed gardening, developing a perennially beautiful array of fauna in her front yard while producing seasonal fruits and vegetables in the hotter months of summer. She also enjoyed the creative processes of tailoring clothing, creating dolls, and making from hand other artisanal goods from the luxury of her private study. Lilo leaves behind a memory of industriousness and creativity. To those who survive her remains the influence to provide for one’s own personal security and opportunities to pursue the luxuries and amenities that bear fruit from such labors.
