Jim Marrocco and his staff have been amazing. I lost my brother and didn't know which way to turn when it came to a situation like this so I asked around and got a few recommendations but went with Cremation Society of New Jersey and glad I did. My aunt was living in Arizona and she had a prepaid cremation. She came to live with my sister last year in New Jersey and unfortunately the cremation was only for Arizona. The cremation society was helpful transferring the contract to their facility. When my aunt passed this year they were very compassionate and professional every time I reached out to them. Months has passed since my aunts passing and they are still reaching out to us to check on us.

The process was quick and easy. The people were great to work with. They explained everything and assisted where needed. This service also eliminated the need for an expensive funeral home if all you wanted was for the body to be cremated and the ashes returned to you.

We were fortunate to find Cremation Society of NJ when our father died in 2015 at 93. He had made clear that this was his wish. We had no experience with cremation at that time, but the professionals at CSA helped us to understand the process and guided us to complete the arrangements. When our mother died in May, 2020, at 98, we worked with them again for final arrangements, this time slightly more challenging in the time of COVID-19. Jim Marrocco and staff are consummate professionals and meet all needs with dignity and understanding. We three kids (!) are all from out of state and so it was important to have a relationship with a Bergen County business to offer their assistance and service to bring our parents to their eternal rest. Sincere thanks from our family to Cremation Society of NJ.

Wonderful and caring people when you need it most. Very professional and handle everything. We also received access to grief counseling, which my sister reported was outstanding. And, we have also received follow up mail to make sure we were ok. I highly recommend them.

When my husband died, I knew options were limited due to COVID-19. But more importantly, I was only looking for a cremation service as a matter of personal choice. I wanted a firm that would help me remotely, was reasonably priced and close by. I found this at the Cremation Society of New Jersey. I was able to fill out all the information on-line and everything else was done with email and a few phone calls. The staff was understanding and compassionate. It was a tough time but I felt very comfortable with my choice.

I wanted my father taken care of right away. This cremation company made everything easy. I was having difficulty filing paperwork just scattered emotionally and they helped me multiple times because I was so upset I just couldn't think clearly. The office staff walked me through the paperwork many times.Calling and texting only to make sure I was okay made the difference. Their pricing was reasonable compared to local cremation services in Southern N.J. Thanks again for your organized timely support.

Thank you everyone at The Creamation Society of NJ....you've helped my family and I when we needed it most. When our family was mourning the loss of my dad we decided to let Elizabeth and her team take the reigns. Definitely one of the best decisions we've ever made as a family. I personally can't thank them enough for the "wellness checks "and grief counseling as we are still moving through the healing process. The Cremation Society of NJ was extremely helpful with my daughter's passing. They were patient with me and worked hard at getting everything resolved as soon as possible. It would have been much more difficult for me if they weren't there because I live 2 hours away. The price was affordable and they provided many choices in the process. I highly recommend dealing with them if you need cremation services.

Both Jim and Elizabeth were most professional and considerate during a very difficult time for me with the loss of my Mom. I had to make arrangements while living out of state and during the covid-19 pandemic. It was emotionally difficult and with the pandemic things were even worse. They called me and walked me through all the details and emailed everything necessary for me to sign. Since there was such a back up in Northern NJ with the unfortunate loss of so many people due to this virus, I wanted to have it done as soon as possible and not to have to wait several weeks, they offered an option to have her transported to South Jersey for a minimal extra fee. This provided comfort, as no one wants to ever lose their Mom. I would recommend them highly.

I found the Cremation Society everything a “ business” should aspire too. Especially in these delicate areas. They were caring, friendly, and helpful in every way possible! I’ve dealt with Stephanie, Elizabeth and Jim. Very lovely people. A few years back, I used their crematory services for my Meggie (dog). They were very kind and compassionate. I highly recommend their services to all at a very sad time.

During an extremely difficult time and in the middle of the night, Cremation Society of New Jersey were extremely responsive ,sensitive and caring. My husband had been in Hospice care at home and they wanted to make sure we had enough time to say our final goodbye.

When my mother went to be with the Lord recently, the Cremation Society of New Jersey provided their services in taking care of her corporeal body. They were extremely professional in every way: punctual, thoughtful, reliable, and kind as well as affordable. They even went the extra step of including some of my father’s ashes in her urn so that my parents could be together when she is buried in Puerto Rico. (His urn will be at the Veteran’s cemetery.) They helped make the most difficult time of my life a bit easier. I highly recommend them.

The staff is very compassionate while helping us get my son’s funeral/cremation arrangements taken care of. They treated us like family. They gave us our privacy to be alone to talk things over before making final decisions. Their urns are so affordable which allowed us to each pick our own. I’m so grateful for all they did for us. I highly recommend them.

You came on very short notice which meant I did not need to drive to an unfamiliar place at a stressful time. You also helped with the paperwork I had not filled out in advance.
